Volunteering for Fabulous Felines NWA
Even if you cannot foster a cat in your home, we welcome those who wish to volunteer in other ways. Volunteers are always needed at our monthly adoption events. We will send an email to all who wish to volunteer asking if they are available for an event and at what time(s).
We try to schedule at least two volunteers for each three-hour shift while the store is open, with one being a senior volunteer who knows how to screen potential adopters and correctly fill out adoption paperwork. The volunteer duties would include caring for the cats, scooping litter, taking a cat to the viewing room for a prospective adopter, and monitoring the public around the cages.
We occasionally have meet-and-greet parties to visit with others in our organization and exchange ideas and kitty stories.
